Just because I love all y’all so much, we’re having another giveaway here on An Island Mom!
On this quest some call blogging (or as my spell check suggests: bogging, logging, flogging, clogging, or slogging), I’m starting to discover that I like to host giveaways. That way, I don’t have to win to win, you know?
Wow, that last line sounded even more terrible than it did in my head, which was unexpected. Right now, you probably are thinking something along the lines of, “Christine, just stick to your areas of expertise: island life and embarrassing yourself in public.â€
You are so right, I’m sorry to concede.
So here’s the deal. Recently, at a local gift shop, I found this oh-so-beachy beach bag, which made me think about summer and how much I’m longing for beach weather again after the Winter of Our Discontent. This made me think about how most people probably feel the same way (and some of you have a much, much greater right to your discontentment than I do), and then I thought, “I bet a lot of An Island Mom readers would love this bag to help them anticipate the weather to come.â€
I think profound thoughts when I shop.Â
This is especially true if the small people are with me (e.g., “Do not trip and knock that display over again lest we be banished from a store I really like!†and “Exactly how long can an errand that should take five minutes actually take?â€).
But I digress, so here’s the scoop.

I love the bag! Here in Ohio, it has been a very long winter. This has been a little more worrisome because of my 2 oldest driving in it. We always go to the beach every summer and really looking forward to it. I also agree with the comment above, to find out where to buy it if we are not the lucky winner.

I’m currently sewing buttons in the shape of an anchor onto a plain beach bag as I have a nautical and beach theme obsession!! We are staying in Siesta Key for the first time this July (hubby’s first time to FLA) and this gorgeous beach bag would accompany me everywhere!!!
